I’m a Private Pilot, doing my best to stay current and learn. I fly for fun and might just be the least cocky pilot on the internet! My self-analysis videos can seem self-deprecating at times, but I am trying to learn from the small mistakes to avoid making a big one; I’m happy to share and find it rewarding to help other pilots or aspiring aviators in any way that I can. How does the saying go? “Experience is a hard teacher because she gives the test first, the lesson afterward”. And in aviation, not all tests are survivable.
My virtual “ride-along” flying videos are aimed and sharing my experiences and giving back to the aviation community which has been so helpful to me. I shoot multi-camera angles, get detailed real-time instrument panel shots, and have radio intercom audio. I respect people’s time, so I put a fair bit of work into editing to keep the videos concise and engaging; I add animations and further graphics and voice-overs where needed to add context and explanations.
My hope is to continue to grow and evolve the “Flight Chops” project with input and support from the aviation community!

Jason Miller is a CFII with more than 20 years of aviation experience and nearly 10,000 hours of instruction given. Jason is a member of the FAA safety team, an instructor for AOPA’s Air Safety Institute and was named by the FAA as the western pacific CFI of the year for 2009 and 2016.
“I am passionate about developing systems that help pilots become safer and more efficient.” Says Miller.
Using his background as a performer and experience on the flight line, Jason created The Finer Points – Aviation Podcast, one of the most recognized and well-respected aviation podcasts in the world.
The Finer Points is about excellence. As pilots we strive to not merely fly, but to become excellent aviators. As an instructor I work to create the most efficient and effective training experience. I often tell my students that I have two goals for them: one is that they pass the check ride on the first attempt, and the second is that they never die in an airplane. I believe those two goals are one and the same. Over the last 20 years I have worked to refine the art of flight instruction, working to understand where and when to employ various tools of teaching.

That’s how the YouTube channel a Mentour Pilot started and I have been working on creating new, fun and inspiring content ever since.
I love my job and everything around professional aviation and on my channel, everyone is welcome! I wanted to create a place on the internet where even my own mum could go and get information about aviation that would make sense to her. 😂

I’m so happy that you landed on my web page. Here I provide educational, motivational and inspirational aviation content. Whether you just love aircraft, are a student pilot or a seasoned pilot with many hours, you can find something here that might just interest you. My name is Nancy Bradshaw and I am an airline pilot, commercial ASEL and Helicopter pilot, CFI, CFII, and AGI for airplanes. I am planning to also get my instructor licenses for helicopter in the future.
I have a Masters in Aerospace Engineering and I was a Flight Test Engineer for nine years working on the F16 and F35 platforms. I absolutely loved my work, but sitting in a dark control room behind a computer all day, was not the way I wanted to spend my career.
In 2015 I decided to change my career from being an Aerospace Engineer, to becoming a Pilot and it is the best decision I have made. Becoming a pilot has taught me to so much about myself, has pushed my limits and has made me feel like I can accomplish anything that I set my mind to. After all: THE SKY IS NO LONGER THE LIMIT!
